It’s indeed a pity because the bottom line is that you can’t fool the customer no matter what we say.
Occasionally, we see a contrarian reaction: The targeted company takes a proactive, constructive approach to poor publicity, leaving no stone unturned to ensure that our following review tells the opposite story. Such a company is IKO Dynasty. And what a turnaround it has been! Their efforts – beyond expectations – fully deserve our coveted recognition award for 2021. Here’s the story from the beginning.
Three years ago, alerted by substantial customer discontent, we discovered that the IKO Dynasty shingle reflected suspect quality for many reasons, the worst of which was massive, granular loss. Our review shone a dim light on IKO Dynasty and, by implication, its stakeholders. Management reacted by going to their board, not to winge or leverage power to silence our voice, but to admit we were right. They started by talking to roofers and us to get to the crux of the matter.
It quickly emerged that quality control became their mantra. Their single-minded objective was to turn homeowners’ sentiment around and support the servicing efforts of roofing contractors everywhere in the US. Of course, they probably did it by turning protocols, systems, employee attitudes, and everything else that it takes upside down. But the results are there for all to see!

Today IKO Dynasty can proudly say they have one of the best shingles on the market, and their service to roofers is second-to-none. We confirm it. Complaints have turned to accolades.
