    Apple Roofing Review & Tour

    The plan was to visit Apple Roofing, see the inner workings of a company who currently does over $20 million a year in business. We wanted to provide an Apple Roofing review that accurately represented them as a company.

    Once inside Apple Roofing’s $6 million headquarters, Dmitry met with CEO Dustan Biegler to talk about what makes his company so successful.

    A little context about this great company:

    Apple Roofing almost exclusively sells IKO shingles. They stock it, sell it, and stand behind it, but this wasn’t always the case.

    Years ago, Apple Roofing was selling other popular brands of shingles, but after issues surrounding customer service, warranties, and other important aspects of roofer/manufacturer relationships, Apple Roofing decided to go another direction.

    Today, Apple Roofing is loyal to the IKO brand and has hundreds of pallets in their backyard to prove it.

    IKO is one of the sales leaders in the Midwest. They produce unholy amounts of revenue and also have the largest brand appeal.

    Together with Apple Roofing, the two have developed a strong partnership that shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, Apple Roofing is so impressive, even the execs at IKO have taken notice.

    Here is a testimony from Jeff Williams, IKO’s Director of Branding and Marketing in North America:

    Apple Roofing was one of our first customers to recognize how to monetize our Dynasty and Nordic shingles, and they have built a very profitable business by differentiating on performance innovation and service.

    Our relationship runs much deeper than simply selling shingles. As a ROOFPRO Craftsman Premier member, we have worked with Apple on co-marketing efforts as well as provided them with tools for lead generation and continued education.

    This type of relationship with IKO is why Apple Roofing has continued to grow, allowing them to invest in their branding process.

    A good example of this is Dustan Biegler and his team have done a good job in manufacturing all Apple Roofing products in green, making their products and services known to everyone.

    For a company who boasts a 24,000 square foot warehouse, they are well on their way to ensuring that their brand and company will be successful for years to come.
